Which is a famous is an American film editor and sound designer. He has started his career in 1969. The most sussesful work it must be Godfather I, II and III. He also got 3 academy award wins out of nine nominations. He is one of the the most respected film editor and sound designers in modern cinema. The first movie he was doing sound mixing is Francis Ford Coppola’s ‘The Rain people’.
When he was creating the sound of apocalypse, Murch uses the foley technique to make the viewers believe that the sound effects are actually real. But the real thing is he brings the old boat shipped from the philippines to his ranch in california for a foley session. which means he is very focus what he is doing and believe sounds can changing the audienc feeling of the movie.
